During the past 2 decades, the Williams sisters have achieved great heights and thus represented American tennis with glory. There is also a young breed of tennis talents coming from the USA and making great names in the game. The year’s Australian Open women’s singles champion Sofia Kenin is ranked as the world number 4 among the female tennis players. Kenin is just 22 years old and has a lot of great seasons ahead. With her precocious talent and masterful game, the rising star has continued to improve her ranking as well as reputation with every passing year. Kenin is one of the future superstars of the WTA tour. 

At Melbourne Park this year, she beat the world number 1 Ash Barty in the semi-final  Kenin then conquered the two time Grand Slam champ Garbine Muguriuza of Spain in the final match. The American has so far won 6 singles career titles. These include the important ones like the Acapulco Open. After her victory in Australia, Kenin also won the Lyon Open in France. She is regarded as one of the most promising among the young female tennis players. 

Madison Keys

Keys who is currently placed at world number 13 is another one of the top talented female tennis players from the United States. She has so far won 5 titles and already been in the top 10 with the highest career ranking of world number 7. Her performance in the Grand Slams has been consistent enough with a finalist appearance at her home slam of the US Open. Keys has also been a semi-finalist and the French and Australian Open as well as a quarterfinalist at Wimbledon. 

The 25-year-old has so far reached 10 WTA finals. She has won 5 titles and been a runner up 5 times. Madison Keys won her biggest career title at the Cincinnati Open in 2019. That remains her only Premier title so far but being regarded as one of the brightest female tennis players on the tour, she is expected to win many more in the coming years.

Stephens won the 2017 US Open and finished as the finalist at the 2018 French Open. Currently ranked at number 37 in the world, the talented American who has been a world number 3 in the past is suffering a slight loss of form. Stephens is however one of the most talented female tennis players and expected to jump back into the top 10 I the coming seasons. 

Among her young career highlights also is the victory at WTA premier title in Miami and the finals appetence in the WTA year-end finals. Her strong baseline game and comfort on all surfaces make Stephens one of the toughest competitors to face on a tennis court for any top player.
